Jason M. Lucas

Executive Director of Amstar

Jason M. Lucas is Executive Director of Amstar. Mr. Lucas is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Amstar’s global investments and will serve as the Portfolio Manager for Amstar Global Property Fund II. He currently serves in the same capacity for Amstar Global Property Fund I, managing the underwriting, due diligence, acquisition, development, financing, asset management, construction supervision and disposition of the investments. Mr. Lucas has more than 8 years of real estate transaction experience in the United States and Europe.

Before joining Amstar in 2007, Mr. Lucas was with Broadreach Capital Partners in Los Angeles where he assisted in the acquisition of over $500 million of value-add real estate in the office, hospitality, retail and multifamily sectors. Prior to that, Mr. Lucas worked for Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds. During his tenure, he also advised clients on a wide range of financial and strategic alternatives, including mergers, acquisitions, buyouts and capital raises.

Mr. Lucas graduated with honors from Brown University with a B.A. in Economics.
